Consists of 4 panels. A design feature of this trawl is availability of elongated trawl wings, use of netting with mesh size of 120 mm in squares and wings, and possibility to make diagonal cuts of the side panel for works over heavy ground surface.

The cod-end section is implemented in such a way that when necessary, trawl cod-ends from pelagic trawls may be used. The fittings scheme allows quickly changing a bottom trawl with a mid-water one.

Purpose and Scope of Application

Intended for fishing bottom fish and dispersed fish concentrations in the Southwest, Antarctic, Southeast, and Northwest Atlantic from 2000 – 2400 horsepower vessels.
